Originally this flower came from Mexico. Amaranthus are also known as Amaranthus hypochondriacus, Foxtail Amaranth or Prince of Wales Feather. These stems are ideal for autumn and winter bouquets and they offer structure and impact as well as beautiful natural subtle colours, which combine beautifully with other natural dried flowers such as Helichrysu, Love-in-a-Mist or Barley (Hordeum) for example. Amaranthus requires no specific maintenance and will last a long time. Our Amaranthus has been sown, grown and harvested in Holland.
